So just who is this Dandino character?

Dandino 2Upon doing our research Fillies Form discovered Dandino is a frequent flyer. He has successfully raced around the world while accumulating over $1million in prize money in six different countries!!

This is a serious horse. Under the watchful eye of one of Britain’s leading trainer’s, Marco Botti, Dandino has consistently raced in Group company.  The 7 year old has contested some of the worlds most lucrative races including the USA St Ledger, The Hong Kong Vase, The Japan Cup and The Coronation Cup to name a few.

On the back of his most recent victory in the USA St Ledger, Dandino has now landed on Australian shores.  Following in the footsteps of his stable mate Jakkalbery, Dandino  has contested the same lead up races in preparation for both the Cup’s. Marco Botti’s head man Paul Francis states  “He is thriving here compared to home. What I will say about Dandino is he has a high cruising speed and takes things in his stride”.

In his travels Dandino has attracted some of the worlds best jockeys, partnering with the likes of Ryan Moore, Frankie Dettori, Johnny Murtagh and Keiren Fallon. Now he attracts the service’s of Champion Australian jockey Craig Williams who is shooting for 3 consecutive Caulfield Cups. William’s couldn’t be more enthusiastic heading into the Caulfield Cup and was quoted as saying “I’m really happy with how he galloped. Once I asked him to extend, and the companion joined him in the straight, I love how he responded”.

The team of Botti, Francis and William’s may be the perfect combination to provide this International high flyer his first Australian triumph.
